WE NEED MORE THINKERS
Our Mission:
We use the tools of education to help raise our people to an unprecedented level of excellence and self-respect through their own efforts.
We use the tools of education to help raise our people to an unprecedented level of excellence and self-respect through their own efforts.
The impact WE NEED MORE THINKERS makes by creating soft spaces in a hard world and opening access and opportunities to learn, adventure, grow, and explore safely and communally is radical and important.
By creating group travel, we empower Black people to explore and do so safely together.
We foster community by creating spaces for learning and growth through our book club meetings.
We seek to craft programs that stimulate the mind, body, and spirit within a safe, communal space.
These books help children in public school systems, children of incarcerated parents, foster homes, and our communities. These books serve as a reflection of our history and our excellence.
From city to city across the nation, we are facilitating group dialogue using books, the arts, and cultural events to strengthen connections to our past, present, and future.
We give knowledge of self, knowledge of our heroes, and the resources to inspire the next Malcolm X, Maya Angelou, Thurgood Marshall, Oprah Winfrey, Huey P. Newton, Barack Obama, and Ava Duvernay.
Our goal is to create unity and actions to push the culture forward. For creatives, geniuses, thinkers, nerds, and world changers who unapologetically love literary conversations, reading, writing, and elevating to the highest level.
